With over a decade of experience in metal additive manufacturing, Andreas Solbach specializes in delivering advanced AM solutions across the aviation and space industries in Europe. At Nikon SLM Solutions, he oversees key aerospace application projects and supports customers from part screening to full onboarding—including engineer training after machine installation.

Andreas began working in metal AM in 2014, focusing on aerospace applications. Before joining Nikon SLM Solutions in 2018, he held research and application roles at the Technical University of Hamburg and the Laser Zentrum Nord (now Fraunhofer IAPT), where he helped translate cutting-edge research into real-world innovation.
