MISSOURI S&T INVESTS IN SLM®500

Missouri S&T PR

Missouri University of Science and Technology has installed a Nikon SLM®500 to strengthen workforce development and engineering education. Funded by the Department of Labor and Missouri’s MoExcels initiative, the system will support undergraduate instruction, industry workshops, and regional collaboration. By training students and professionals on industrial-scale AM, Missouri S&T is building the skills pipeline needed for the future of manufacturing.

NXG 600E JOINS U.S. NAVY PROGRAM

Navy NXG 600E

The NXG 600E is playing a central role in the U.S. Navy’s Maritime Industrial Base Program. Installed at Nikon’s AM Technology Center in Long Beach, it will qualify materials, develop data packages, and produce critical components—supporting the revitalization of U.S. shipbuilding through advanced manufacturing.

Fraunhofer Copper Workshop

At Fraunhofer IWS’s Copper AM for Industry Workshop, Anna Martín Vilardell presented results on CuCr1Zr processed on the NXG platform. The talk highlighted how copper alloys are unlocking new industrial applications, from electronics to energy. We’re proud to help move copper AM from research into real-world use cases.
